What is the Diode Hair Removal Program❓

The Diode Hair Removal Program uses a machine called “Primelase HR.” It has a high maximum energy output, with wavelengths penetrating as deep as 1060 nm, reaching the hair roots—comparable to YAG.

 

Combining and adjusting these energy levels requires special techniques to ensure that the delivered energy is suitable for each person’s skin condition. This machine can deliver energy at all 3 levels.

810 nm is suitable for fair skin and light-colored hair.

940 nm: This energy level helps eliminate the blood vessels that nourish the hair. Applying 940 nm energy helps slow hair growth.

1060 nm is suitable for people with dark skin. Energy at 1060 nm penetrates deeply to destroy the hair roots.

🔻How often should treatment be performed?🔻

- For the clinic’s Diode laser hair removal service, please allow at least 30 days, or 1 month, since your last treatment. Doctors recommend not having another treatment before 30 days have passed, as this may increase the risk of skin burns. After 5–8 treatments, depending on the individual, newly grown hair will become much thinner or may stop growing altogether. Results vary from person to person.

- Shave the hair.

- The treatment takes approximately 10–30 minutes, depending on the area treated.

✅ Pre-treatment instructions for laser hair removal

👉🏻 If you have a history of cold sores around the lips, inform the doctor before treatment.

👉🏻 Apply plenty of moisturizer for 3–5 days before your appointment to prevent dry skin. If your skin is dry, the treatment cannot be performed.

👉🏻 Avoid medications that may cause photosensitivity for 3–5 days before the laser treatment.

👉🏻 Shave the hair in the treatment area at least 1 day before your appointment (shave in the direction of hair growth).

👉🏻 Avoid sun exposure for 4–6 weeks, and apply sunscreen every time before leaving home.
